How it works
How Veyas-AI works for your practice
Veyas-AI is not a patient app, not a chatbot, and not another dashboard for your team to manage. It is an automated clinical follow-up system that runs quietly alongside your existing workflow — monitoring your chronic disease patients continuously and routing only the right alerts to the right people.
Step 1 — We identify your high-risk cohort
The first step is understanding which of your patients need monitoring. Working with your team, we identify your chronic disease panel — typically patients with diabetes, hypertension, COPD, CKD, heart failure, or recent hospital discharge.
This cohort is configured in the platform before go-live. No clinical data leaves your practice at this stage.
Typical cohort size: 20–35% of your registered patient list
Step 2 — Automated patient follow-up begins
Once configured, our system contacts patients on your behalf via voice call and SMS — using clinically approved scripts aligned with NHS chronic disease protocols.
Patients respond naturally. No app download required. No patient training required. Contact frequency is set by you — daily, weekly, or at clinically defined intervals.
- Patient-reported symptoms and vital signs
- Medication adherence
- Wellbeing and functional status
- Specific disease indicators (blood glucose, breathlessness, weight change, etc.)
Step 3 — Clinical risk is scored in real time
Every patient response is analysed by our clinical logic engine. Responses are scored against clinical thresholds, trended over time, and cross-referenced with your practice's protocols.
When a patient shows early warning signs, the system generates a prioritised alert — routed immediately to your clinical team.
- System never provides medical diagnosis
- System never recommends medication changes
- Emergency escalation triggers immediate human contact
- All responses logged for clinical record
Step 4 — Your team acts on what matters
Your clinicians see a clean, prioritised dashboard — not a list of 500 patients, but the 3 or 4 who need attention today.
QOF gaps, overdue reviews, recall triggers, and risk alerts are surfaced in one place. Your team acts. The system logs the outcome and continues monitoring.
Time saved: 4.2 hours per GP per week on average (pilot results)
